JOB TITLE - CLUB TREASURER
After 8 years, our Treasurer, Stephen Cliff, is stepping down. We are searching for a new Treasurer to take on this role that's fundamental to the smooth running of operations at Kew. This position includes financial strategy, planning, and management; payroll, banking, and bookkeeping; and supporting the Head Pro, General Manager, and Board in permits, staffing regulations, and much more. On average, it requires 7-10 volunteer hours a week. JOB TITLE - Certified Tennis Instructors - (Multiple jobs available)
Kew Gardens Tennis Club (KGTC) is looking for certified tennis instructors for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 season from May - September with additional opportunities to coach in the Fall. Candidates should be capable of coaching and managing small groups.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Instructors will be available for the 2023 Spring/Summer season with opportunities in the Fall. Coaches will report to the Director of Tennis Operations. The ideal candidates should embody a passion for tennis, work well within a team environment, can work independently and have a strong work ethic, with a flexible schedule to coach Saturday mornings, Spring After School Programs and weekly Summer Camps throughout the spring/summer. Selected candidates should have good communication/interpersonal skills with juniors and the ability to follow instructions.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· TPA Certified Instructor (Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience)
· current and up to date TPA Certified with insurance proof (mandatory)
· experience coaching juniors
· up to date Vulnerable Sector Police Background/Criminal Check
· current First Aid/CPR
· friendly, caring, outgoing, punctual, reliable
· flexibility to coach Saturday Mornings, After School and Summer Camp
Remuneration value chart will determine compensation.
