TLTL and Intercounty Team Tryouts

Howard Park Tennis Club is a member of the Toronto Ladies Tennis League (TLTL) and Intercounty Tennis Association (ICTA), interclub leagues designed for competitive doubles tennis. Teams travel to surrounding clubs and host matches on home turf. Start dates are typically in the second week of May and seasons last 8-10 weeks for the TLTL and 14 weeks for the ICTA not including playoffs.

Tryouts will be held indoors at Mayfair Lakeshore and outdoors at Howard Park Tennis Club. Tryout dates and call-backs are organized according to your club-rated NTRP rating. If you do not have a club-rated NTRP rating you may self-rate according to these guidelines. This rating will be subject to change after evaluation by one of our club pros.

Please refer to the "Player Availability" section of the Teams page to ensure you will be available to play during the season.

 

Tryout Locations and Times

NTRP rating of 3.5 and below, select ONE of the following dates:

  • Indoors: March 24th from 8:30pm - 10:30pm @ Mayfair Lakeshore​

  • Outdoors: April 20th from 2pm to 5pm @ Howard Park. 

 

NTRP rating of 4.0 and above, select ONE of the following dates:
