SPRING - AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Does your child need a break once they finish their homework after school? Perhaps joining BHTC's Spring After School Program is the extra curricular activity they need.
Tennis is a wonderful sport for youth to participate in. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate or advanced player, all skill levels and abilities are welcome.
Our after school tennis program provides students with the opportunity to learn the game, develop skills, build character and create new friendships. The well-developed program focuses on instruction of technique, baseline drills, point play and playing tactics. Not limited to interactive drills, footwork & fun court games for play.
Our programs will range between ages 5 to 16 in which students will be divided into groups according to their age and skill level.
Prior to students registering for the program, they must be an BHTC member first. Once registered as a member, students may then enroll into the selected program(s) of choice.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN: Classes will be held in the clubhouse if it rains. Coaches will keep the kids busy with activities such as games, exercises, learning about the rules, etiquette, etc. To enhance on-court lessons, coaches may also play tennis videos for the kids.
Rain Policy: No refunds or credits are given for camp days that are rained out or missed. Missed camp days may be made-up during other camp weeks with prior arrangement. Exceptions do apply.

RED BALL - Ages 4-6yrs
The red ball program is great. It is an introducing to the basics of tennis, including holding the racket, hitting the ball, and understanding the rules of the game in a simplified manner suitable for their age group.
ORANGE BALL - Ages 6-8yrs
The orange ball program is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is typicall for players aged 8 and 9. It is played with shorter rackets, softer balls and courts are bigger and wider than the red stage but still smaller than full-size tennis courts allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.
GREEN BALL 9-11yrs
The green ball program is typically for children between the ages of 9-12yrs. This program is often broken into two categories, 1) Children who have been playing since the red or orange ball stage 2) Children who are just beginning to playThe modified balls on the full court allow kids to participate in longer rallies enjoying the game much more!
RECREATIONAL BALL 11-13yrs
Our Junior Recreation Program is designed to provide children aged 11-13 with a fun and engaging environment where they can explore new interests, develop skills, and build friendships. Our program offers a variety of recreational activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and social interaction!
