Junior League Junior Lessons

Appleby Tennis Club offers lessons for juniors of all levels from age 4 to 18. We use a progression approach to allow our players to learn and play the game quickly, efficiently and successfully. Our lessons concentrate on the fundamentals of tennis, while promoting life skills such as: teamwork, discipline, passion, integrity, individuality, kindness and accountability. It is a great way to get active and enjoy the outdoors during the spring and summer months!

 

 

Quick Start Tennis

Quick start tennis is a progressive approach to teaching the game that will allow kids to learn the game of tennis as quickly as possible. With the appropriate sized equipment, introduction to proper fundamentals and dynamic exercises and drills, kids will learn to rally and play the game of tennis at any age. This is a perfect program for players who are beginners and looking to learn to play tennis.

Progressive Development

Progressive Development is the next stage for juniors looking to take their game to the next level. This is an ideal program for players with tennis lessons and playing experience who want to further develop their skills. Technical, Tactical, Physical and mental skills will be taught through a progressive game play approach with appropriate sized equipment. Players in these groups will have completed quick start tennis or have been assessed by the pro to be the appropriate level. Players can sign up for one or two classes per week.

High School Academy

This academy level program is perfect for the high school player looking to further develop their skills to compete in local, high school and club level tournaments. Singles and doubles match play and in game strategy will be emphasized along with improving the players fundamentals.
